Lifting & Rigging Hardware

Welcome to Holloway Houston's selection of lifting and rigging hardware, featuring over 1,850 items designed for various lifting and rigging needs across multiple industries. Here, you can find a wide array of quality hardware components that help you perform lifting operations safely.

Shackles

Shackles act as connecting devices in rigging setups. A good example of our selection would be Green Pin G-4163 Standard Bolt Type Bow Shackles. These shackles are available in sizes ranging from 3/8" to 3". For the 3/8" shackle, the prices range from $16.95, and the WLL can start at 1 ton. As you move up in size, for example, to the 3" shackle, the prices can climb to $1,385.06, and WLL can be as high as 25 tons. These shackles include a removable bolt secured with a nut and cotter pin.

We have screw pin shackles, with a threaded pin that screws into the shackle body, making them suitable for jobs where quick assembly is needed. We carry chain shackles, featuring a straight body design that fits chains, and anchor shackles, which have a bow-shaped body that allows for multiple attachments.

Our shackles are available in various materials, including carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, as well as finishes such as hot-dip galvanized, self-colored, and painted. Brands such as Green Pin, Crosby, and Yoke Hardware are just some of the brands we carry.

Wire Rope Cable & Strand Terminations

Wire rope terminations offer secure end connections for wire rope assemblies. You can find wire rope clips, available in sizes from 1/8" to 1-1/2". These U-bolt style clips secure wire rope ends when installed correctly. The thimbles that we carry protect wire rope from bending sharply around objects. They come in standard and heavy-duty versions.

We also have sleeves and stops, used for creating permanent terminations through swaging or pressing, as well as wedge sockets, which allow for quick wire rope attachment and detachment, often used in crane work. These terminations are available in materials such as galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with WLLs that correspond to the wire rope size they are designed to fit.

Master Links

Master links, also known as pear rings, serve as a central connection point in multi-leg sling assemblies. We carry standard master links, available in multiple sizes with working load limits (WLLs) ranging from 1.5 tons to 35 tons. Oversized master links are designed for applications requiring larger attachment points, while weldless sling links are forged from a single piece of steel.

These links are available in grades 80, 100, and 120 alloy steel, with painted, self-colored, and galvanized finishes.

Master Link Assemblies

Master link assemblies combine master links with parts for jobs. We offer quad assemblies, featuring four connection points for multi-leg sling systems; tri-link assemblies, which provide three connection points for three-leg sling arrangements; and twin-path master link assemblies, designed for use with synthetic slings. These assemblies have working load limits (WLLs) ranging from 2 tons to 50 tons, depending on configuration and size.

Rigging Hooks and Attachments

Hooks connect loads to lifting devices. Our hook selection includes eye hooks, with a closed eye for permanent attachment to chains or slings; clevis hooks, which include a removable clevis pin for easy attachment; swivel hooks, allowing rotation to prevent twisting of slings or chains; grab hooks, made to connect to chain links; foundry hooks, made for foundry and casting work; and self-locking hooks, which include a safety latch mechanism that closes automatically.

Excel (Div. of Van Beest) Grade 10 Alloy Self-Locking Swivel Hooks are built to European standards and feature needle thrust roller bearings that allow rotation under load. Available in grades 80, 100, and 120 alloy steel, our hooks have working load limits (WLLs) ranging from 1/2 ton to 30 tons, with options for painted, galvanized, and self-colored finishes.

Hoist Rings & Lifting Points

Hoist rings and lifting points offer attachment points for lifting work. Swivel hoist rings permit 360-degree rotation and 180-degree pivot for load placement. We also provide eyebolts in straight, shoulder, and swivel designs with various Working Load Limits (WLLs) and lifting points, which are permanent or temporary attachment points that can be bolted or welded to structures.

These products are available in carbon and alloy steel, with various thread sizes to suit your specific needs.

Swivels

Swivels allow rotation in rigging systems to prevent twisting. Ball bearing swivels create smooth rotation under load. We have jaw and eye swivels, which connect rigging parts, and swivel shackles that combine the functions of shackles and swivels. Available in WLLs ranging from 1/2 ton to 25 tons, our swivels are made from alloy steel and feature various connection options.

Sockets

Wire rope sockets create terminations. Open sockets allow you to inspect the wire rope termination, while closed sockets provide a cleaner appearance and added protection. Spelter sockets are secured using zinc or resin, and wedge sockets use a wedge to grip the wire rope.

They are available for wire rope sizes ranging from 1/4" to 2" with working load limits (WLLs).

Lifting Clamps

Lifting clamps grip material without the need for holes or attachments. Plate clamps are designed for lifting steel plates, beam clamps attach to I-beams and H-beams for lifting points, and pipe clamps are used for lifting pipes and cylindrical objects.

Our lifting clamps have working load limits (WLLs) ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 tons and are available in various jaw openings to accommodate different material thicknesses.

Chain Repair & Connecting Links

These links permit the repair or connection of chain systems. Connecting links join two pieces of chain or attach chain to parts. Hammerlock links have a removable side bar secured with a rivet, and quick links allow fast connection.

They are available in grades 80, 100, and 120 alloy steel, with working load limits (WLLs) that match the chain they are designed to work with.

Synthetic Sling Fittings

Fittings designed for use with synthetic web and round slings include web sling fittings, such as delta rings, flat eyes, and twist locks, as well as roundsling fittings designed explicitly for endless roundslings. These fittings are available in sizes with working load limits (WLLs) ranging from 1 ton to 20 tons.

Connection & Repair Links

Other connection options for rigging systems include pear links, similar to master links but with a pear shape; delta links, which are triangular links designed for specific connections; and repair links, enabling the field repair of chain or sling assemblies. Available in sizes with WLLs from 1/2 ton to 15 tons.

Chains

We offer chain types for jobs. Alloy chain, available in grades 80, 100, and 120 for lifting work, comes in sizes from 1/4" to 1" and WLLs from 1 ton to 30 tons. We also have a proof coil chain, which is a general-purpose chain not rated for overhead lifting, and a transport chain, made for load securement during transport.

Our chains are available in various finishes, including painted, self-colored, and galvanized options.

Turnbuckles

Turnbuckles allow for tension adjustment in rigging systems. Jaw and jaw turnbuckles have clevis connections on both ends, eye and eye turnbuckles have closed eye connections, hook and eye turnbuckles combine hook and eye end fittings, and stub end turnbuckles feature threaded ends for custom connections.

Available in sizes ranging from 1/4" to 2-1/2" with working load limits (WLLs) from 1/2 ton to 25 tons, our turnbuckles are made from carbon or alloy steel with various finishes.
