Holloway Heavy-Lift Braided Roundslings
For lifting operations where load stability and controlled handling matter most, braided roundslings provide a noticeable advantage over standard single roundslings. Each sling is created by braiding several endless round slings together into a single unit. This design spreads the weight across a wider surface area, improving grip on the load while minimizing load movement. The result is a stable lift that reduces the risk of load damage and makes rigging tasks smoother. Holloway braided roundslings are carefully fabricated to meet demanding lifting conditions and maintain consistent performance across different applications.
Our Braided Roundsling Configurations
Holloway supplies two main braided roundslings to meet varying lifting needs. Both configurations can be separated into individual slings after the lift, providing additional flexibility for future use.

6-Part Braided Roundslings (Part No: HH6BR)
The 6-part sling is created by braiding three endless round slings together. Its broad, flat body gives excellent stability for large or irregular loads. This configuration works well with vertical, choker, or basket hitches, keeping the load in place during lifting. The 6-part braid balances strength with handling ease, making it suitable for demanding lifts without adding unnecessary weight.

8-Part Braided Roundslings (Part No: HH8BR)
The 8-part configuration uses four endless round slings braided together, giving maximum capacity for the heaviest lifts. The wide body spreads the load evenly, reducing stress at any single point along the sling. This braid is also more resistant to abrasion and wear, maintaining consistent performance even under frequent use with heavy or rough loads. It is an ideal choice for situations where large or complex loads need stable handling.

Advantages of Holloway Braided Roundslings

Engineered Safety
The multi-part braided design provides redundant safety. Should one of the component slings be damaged, the remaining slings can help support the load, allowing it to be safely lowered.

Load Stability
The wide, flat body of the braid offers a better grip and more stable lift compared to single roundslings, especially for large-diameter or oddly shaped loads.

Strength-to-Weight Ratio
Braided slings provide lifting capacities comparable to steel wire rope slings but at a fraction of the weight, reducing rigger fatigue and making them easier to handle, transport, and rig.

Gentle on Loads
Made from 100% polyester, these slings are soft and conform to the shape of the load, minimizing the risk of crushing, scratching, or other damage to sensitive surfaces.

Simple Identification and Handling
Every sling comes with a tag that clearly shows its capacity and specifications. The eyes of the sling are wrapped with an extra layer of abrasion-resistant polyester, extending their lifespan.
