Industrial Lifting Chains

Industrial lifting chains in grades 70 to 120 for overhead lifting, hauling, and load binding. Certified to meet industry standards, these chains deliver consistent performance and strength, making them dependable for transport, rigging, and more across industries.

Heavy Duty Lifting Chains for Tough Loads

In lifting and rigging, every link matters. The chain is valued for its high strength, long service life, and ability to function in challenging conditions such as heat, abrasion, and exposure to chemicals. At Holloway, we understand that the safety of your people and the performance of your equipment depend on the quality of each link.

That’s why we provide chains from the most respected manufacturers around the world. Whether you’re moving a large load, tying down equipment for transport, or building custom assemblies, we deliver products that meet the demands of your work with consistency.

Grades of Chains and Their Applications

Selecting the right grade is important for safe lifting and transport. Each grade has a defined Working Load Limit (WLL) and is intended for specific uses. Using the wrong grade in the wrong application can cause serious risk.

Grade 70 (Transport Chain)

Recognized by its gold chromate finish, this carbon steel chain is the standard for load binding, tie-downs, towing, and logging. It is widely used in transportation but is not approved for overhead lifting.

Grade 80 (Alloy Lifting Chain)

The first alloy chain rated for overhead lifting. Grade 80 remains a proven and cost-effective choice for chain slings in construction, manufacturing, and rigging applications.

Grade 100 (Alloy Lifting Chain)

The current industry standard for overhead lifting. Approximately 25% stronger than Grade 80 of the same diameter, Grade 100 supports lighter sling designs while maintaining lifting capacity.

Grade 120 (Alloy Lifting Chain)

The highest-performing chain available today. Its square link design delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance, making it the preferred choice for specialized lifts where both strength and reduced weight are important.
