Turnbuckle Eye Ends for Custom and Replacement Assemblies
A turnbuckle eye end is a threaded fitting with a closed loop (eye) on the non-threaded end. It threads into one end of a turnbuckle body to provide the connection point for shackles, thimbles, hooks, and fixed pins. When used in combination with a jaw end on the opposite side of the body, the result is an eye-jaw assembly. When paired with a matching eye end on both sides, the result is eye-eye.

Turnbuckle Eye End Types and Configurations
Standard Eye End
The standard eye end carries a closed loop - the eye - sized and threaded to match the nominal thread diameter of the turnbuckle body. The threaded shank engages the body, and the eye protrudes beyond the body to accept the connection hardware. Standard eye ends are available in right-hand thread (for the RH end of a standard body) and left-hand thread (for the LH end).
