Most rigging hooks in this category are available with a spring-loaded safety latch to help retain the sling or load inside the hook throat. Confirm the specific latch configuration on the product page before ordering, since some specialty hook styles are supplied without one.
Working load limit varies by hook size and style and is stamped on the hook body. Loading a hook at an angle rather than in-line reduces its rated capacity - this must be accounted for in the lift plan.
