Holloway Flat Nylon Web Slings

A flat web sling is a synthetic sling made from woven nylon webbing with sewn eyes at each end. The flat profile makes web slings easier to handle than chain and wire rope, and nylon's ability to absorb shock loads without permanent deformation is well-suited to the variable dynamics of overhead crane picks.

Holloway Houston manufactures web slings per ASME B30.9 (Slings) and WSTDA WS-1 (Web Slings). Every sling carries a permanently attached ID tag showing the serial number, working load limit, and material. Color coding follows the WSTDA standard: nylon slings are green on the tag and label.

Width, Ply, and WLL Options

Holloway web slings are available in the following width and ply combinations. WLL increases with width and number of plies.

Width Ply Range
3-inch 1-ply through 4-ply
4-inch 1-ply through 4-ply
6-inch 1-ply through 4-ply
8-inch 1-ply through 4-ply
10-inch 1-ply through 4-ply
12-inch 1-ply through 4-ply

The Holloway web sling line covers standard industrial WLL ranges across 1- to 4-ply configurations and widths from 3-inch to 12-inch. Length options run from 6 feet to 20 feet. contact us for exact WLL ratings per size and ply.

Holloway Houston inspection specialists can assess sling condition on-site and document findings.
