Holloway Houston’s HHERS Series Endless Polyester Round Slings are designed for lifting heavy, delicate, or irregular loads where surface protection and flexibility are paramount. These synthetic slings feature a continuous loop of high-tenacity polyester core yarns encased in a durable, double-wall protective cover.
Every polyester round slings are manufactured in-house by certified technicians at our Houston, Texas facility. This ensures every sling meets or exceeds ASME B30.9 and WSTDA-RS-1 standards for safety and performance.

Polyester round slings offer a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to chain slings or wire rope slings. They are lightweight, pliable, and soft, allowing them to contour to the load and grip it securely in a choker hitch without marring or scratching finished surfaces.
- Low Stretch :Unlike nylon, polyester has minimal stretch (approx. 3-5% at rated capacity), preventing the "bouncing" effect during a lift or load shift in choker hitches.

Configuration Options :
- Models :HHERS1 through HHERS14 (Covering capacities from 2,600 lbs to 100,000 lbs Vertical WLL).
- Lengths :Standard stock lengths include 3', 4', 6', 8', 10', 12', 14', 16', 18', 20', 22', 24', 26', 28', and 30'. Custom lengths up to 100' are available upon request.
- Design : Endless Loopconfiguration allows the user to rotate the hook and load contact points, extending the service life of the sling.
Comprehensive Compliance & Tagging
All Holloway round slings meet or exceed ASME B30.26, WSTDA RS-1, and OSHA standards. Each sling includes a sewn-in tag displaying rated capacities for different hitches, material, date of manufacture, serial number for traceability, and an industry-standard warning label. The tag is protected with vinyl for durability.
Chemical Resistance
These slings are unaffected by soaps, detergents, and lubricating oils but can be damaged by strong acids or alkalis.
Temperature Range
Holloway polyester slings are rated for use from -40°F (-40°C) to 194°F (90°C).

Holloway round slings can be used in vertical, choker, and basket hitches. Standard basket hitch capacities assume both legs positioned at 90° to the load. As the angle decreases, the rated capacity decreases.

Polyester Round Sling Protection
"Slings in contact with edges, corners, protrusions, or abrasive surfaces shall be protected with material strong enough to prevent damage." - ASME B30.9 (2021) 9-5.10.4(d)

If the required size isn’t listed, Holloway can fabricate custom polyester round slings up to 100 ft.
Round Sling Proof Testing Certificates
Proof testing certificates are available for a nominal fee and must be requested when ordering. Each sling is factory-tested to 2x its vertical rating to provide official proof for compliance.
Polyester Lifting Sling Inspections
Inspect slings before each use :
- Tag Damage : Missing or illegible tags require removal from service.
- Jacket Damage : Remove slings if the jacket is compromised, even if inner threads are intact.
- Inner Yarn Knots :Additional knots beyond manufacture indicate damage and require sling removal.
