Holloway Houston’s HHERS Series Endless Polyester Round Slings are designed for lifting heavy, delicate, or irregular loads where surface protection and flexibility are paramount. These synthetic slings feature a continuous loop of high-tenacity polyester core yarns encased in a durable, double-wall protective cover.
Every polyester round slings are manufactured in-house by certified technicians at our Houston, Texas facility. This ensures every sling meets or exceeds ASME B30.9 and WSTDA-RS-1 standards for safety and performance.
Polyester round slings offer a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to chain slings or wire rope slings. They are lightweight, pliable, and soft, allowing them to contour to the load and grip it securely in a choker hitch without marring or scratching finished surfaces.
The Holloway HHERS Round Sling series provides a range of capacities and lengths to fit your specific lifting application.
All Holloway round slings meet or exceed ASME B30.26, WSTDA RS-1, and OSHA standards. Each sling includes a sewn-in tag displaying rated capacities for different hitches, material, date of manufacture, serial number for traceability, and an industry-standard warning label. The tag is protected with vinyl for durability.
These slings are unaffected by soaps, detergents, and lubricating oils but can be damaged by strong acids or alkalis.
Holloway polyester slings are rated for use from -40°F (-40°C) to 194°F (90°C).
A continuous loop design allows for adjustable wear points with each use, extending sling life.
Features loop eyes at both ends for attachment to hooks or shackles, providing the same rated capacities as endless slings.
Also available high performance round slings like Hammerhead slings, braided round slings etc
Holloway round slings can be used in vertical, choker, and basket hitches. Standard basket hitch capacities assume both legs positioned at 90° to the load. As the angle decreases, the rated capacity decreases.

Unlike alloy chain, synthetic polyester slings have strict environmental limits. Exceeding these limits can cause catastrophic failure.
| Exposure Factor | Limit / Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Max Temperature | 194°F (90°C). Do not use above this limit. |
| Min Temperature | -40°F (-40°C). Safe for use, provided no moisture is frozen within the fibers. |
| Acids | Resistant to most mineral acids (e.g., hydrochloric, sulfuric). |
| Alkalis | Degrades. Do not use with strong alkalis (e.g., caustic soda, ammonia). |
| Solvents | Generally resistant to alcohols and dry cleaning solvents. |
| Sunlight (UV) | Prolonged exposure causes strength loss. Store indoors or in dark areas. |
